Pictures

Hey guys, I'm currently participating in a photo exhibition at my school, so I'm just taking pictures of random things connecting to the theme "Our World". So far, I snapped a ton of pictures of flowers and insects, but I want to create a collage which will include the natural world, the man-made world and the dream world. :) I'll post some pictures that I won't be using later on. I thought of doing a street fashion post every other week or so, taking pictures of someone with an outfit I thought was cool, interesting, etc. and then analyzing the style a bit, I'll probably only do it with friends though, because I'm kind if an introvert and too shy to talk to strangers. :P See you in a bit, xoxo Marethyu <3

Outfits of the Days - 06.02 and 07.02.2013

Like I mentioned in the last post, I was going to post the outfits I wore, inspired by my new clothes. So here come the fashion forward, cute styles I wore:
On Wednesday, the center piece of the outfit was my new dip-dye denim shirt.
I wore the shirt, beige Abercrombie skinnies, teal combat boots, a striped scarf, and red lips <3.
Today, the focus lay on my high-low black galaxy cross dress. I wore black tights and black combat style ankle boots with the dress, I didn't have enough time to apply galaxy eyes :'(, but oh well.
Got our semester reports today, and I'm so happy, although +Krupha isn't really excited about them. Love you Krupha! Check out her blog: Krupha's Crazy Candy, which she started because of me hehe.

Nail Art DIY - Glitter polish.

We all know glitter polishes spice up the plain, monotone colored nail, but did you know that you can do some creative (and super stylish!) designs using glitter polishes? Here come some designs to serve you as inspiration.
First, you will need polish of any color to serve as the background (although the natural nail looks awesome too), I used OPI's Suzi & The Lifeguard, an assortment of glitter polishes, I used OPI's Serving Up Sparkle and Jafra's Love Affair, and a dotting tool (alternatively you could use bobby pins).
Nail Polishes I used.
Design 1. Bejeweled crust.
This is how it'll look.
1) Start applying nail polish just a little higher than the center of your nail, and fill in the top half your nail.
2) Use a little bit of polish and tip a triangular, lightly sparkly, design on the bottom half of your nail.

Design 2. Accent tips.
The final look.
1) Use the tip of your nail polish brush to apply glitter to the tips of your nail.
2) Apply more glitter if needed.
Or use a dotting tool to apply the polish on the tip of your nail.

Design 3. Simplicity.
1) Just pull a streak of polish, either horizontally of vertically, to create some bling without drawing too much attention.

The final look!
I applied silver and red glitter polish to my ring finger to set an accent. This is all, hope you had fun and found some inspiration. xoxo Marethyu
Ps. This would look great for Valentine's day!
